知らない単語は聞こえない。

朝、国連ニュースの通勤車中リスニング

タイトルはPaddling hard for a Global Oceans Treaty

理系クラスの授業で尋ねる。海のもので、こんなに酸素作ってくれてるの、なに?発音はallergyとAussieを混ぜた感じ、、と、男子生徒が電子辞書片手に、「先生、これじゃないですか?」

 

algae  藻?確かに‼️勉強になりました。つくづく、知らない単語は聞こえない。
